Web Application UI Design for Jumppl – Project Management Software Australia
Web application UI design for Jumppl was a modernization project built around one core goal — bringing a world-class project management platform’s interface up to the standard its functionality deserved. Jumppl is an Australia-based project management software company originally developed in 2014 to streamline operations for app agencies and growing teams. With a proven product and a loyal user base, Jumppl needed a complete UI redesign that could modernize the user experience, improve usability across the web application, and refresh the homepage to better communicate the platform’s value to new visitors.
About Jumppl
Jumppl was born out of a real operational need — to eliminate the inefficiencies that slow down app agencies, development teams, and project-driven companies. Since 2014, the platform has evolved into a comprehensive project management solution built for teams that demand precision, speed, and clarity in how they manage work. Operating in the competitive Australian SaaS market, Jumppl’s mission has always been to deliver a top-tier product that removes friction from the way teams collaborate, track progress, and deliver results.
The Challenge
Despite having a genuinely powerful product, Jumppl’s existing interface had aged since its original 2014 build. The user experience, while functional, no longer reflected the quality and sophistication of the platform’s capabilities — and the homepage wasn’t effectively communicating Jumppl’s value proposition to prospective users discovering the product for the first time. The challenge was significant: how do you modernize a complex, deeply functional web application interface without disrupting the core workflows that existing users relied on every day?
Every design decision needed to balance innovation with familiarity — introducing a cleaner, more intuitive UI that felt contemporary and polished, while preserving the core functionality and navigation patterns that made Jumppl work for its existing user base. At the same time, the homepage redesign needed to clearly articulate what Jumppl does and why it matters, in a way that converts curious visitors into active users.
Our Solution
We partnered closely with the Jumppl team to approach the redesign with a deep understanding of their product, their users, and their goals. Starting with a comprehensive Figma design process, we rebuilt the web application UI from the ground up — applying contemporary design principles to create a more intuitive, visually consistent, and engaging user experience across all core app screens.
The redesigned UI introduced cleaner layouts, improved information hierarchy, and a more refined visual system that made navigating the platform feel effortless — reducing cognitive load and helping users focus on the work that matters rather than fighting with the interface. Every screen was rebuilt with usability at the forefront, ensuring that the modernized UI enhanced rather than disrupted the workflows Jumppl users depended on.
In parallel, we redesigned the homepage with a conversion-focused approach — leading with Jumppl’s core value proposition, showcasing the platform’s key features through clear visual storytelling, and guiding new visitors through a structured journey that builds understanding, establishes trust, and motivates action.
